How to Set Up the Neutral Digital Planner
Step 1: Open the download PDF that you downloaded from Etsy
Step 2: Download the iOS shortcut (iOS-integrated planners only)
In the download PDF, select a shortcut by clicking either the iOS Calendar & iOS Mail Version or Google Calendar & Gmail Version button. Then, follow the on-screen instructions to finish downloading the shortcut to your iPad.
Step 3: Download the zip file from Google Drive
In the download PDF, click the Download Files from Google Drive button. In Google Drive, download the zip file as follows. Please note that during the download, Google may warn you that the file is too large to be scanned. If you see this message, click Download anyway.
If you’re using the Google Drive website: Tap the three dots next to the file and then tap Download. In the next pop-up, tap Download Anyway. Finally, in the next pop-up, tap Download.
If you’re using the Google Drive app: Tap the three dots next to the file name. For Android users: Tap Download. For iOS users: Tap Open in and then Save to Files. In the next pop-up, tap Save.
Step 4: Once the zip file downloads, unzip it
iOS: Go to the Files app. Then, locate the downloaded file and tap it. The unzipped contents will appear shortly.
Android: There are several apps for unzipping files. Please find instructions for the Files by Google app here: https://support.google.com/files/answer/9048509?hl=en.
Step 5: Import files into your note-taking app
In your note-taking app, import the planner you’d like, along with the covers file and (for GoodNotes only) the sticker book. Please note that the PNG stickers should not be imported. Here’s how to import a file:
On the GoodNotes home page, tap New… In the menu that appears, tap Import. Then, locate the file you’d like to import and tap it. Repeat this process with every file you want to import.
On the Notability home page, tap the Import button in the top-right corner. In the menu that appears, tap Files. Locate the file and tap it. Then, tap Create New Note. Repeat this process with every file you want to import.
