How to Set Up the Minimalist Digital Notebook Collection
Step 1: Open the Google Drive folder
To get started, open the Download Link PDF that you downloaded from Etsy and click the Google Drive link.
Step 2: Install the iOS shortcut (for iOS-integrated notebooks only)
Open the iOS Shortcut folder and then open the iOS Shortcut PDF. Tap the shortcut link. In the pop-up that appears, tap Set Up Shortcut. Select your note-taking app (such as GoodNotes or Notability) and tap Add Shortcut.
Step 3: Choose and download a notebook
In the Google Drive folder, open the Notebooks folder and select your notebook options by clicking through the subsequent folders. Some folders contain a PDF labeled “Options” that you can open to see the available options. Next, download the notebook as follows:
If you’re using the Google Drive website: Tap the three dots next to the file and then tap Download. For iOS users only: Next, tap the Share (box with arrow) button in the top-right corner of the screen. Then, tap Save to Files, followed by Save in the next pop-up.
If you’re using the Google Drive app on iOS: Tap the three dots next to the file name. Tap Open in and then Save to Files. In the next pop-up, tap Save.
If you’re using the Google Drive app on Android: Tap the three dots next to the file name and then tap Download.
Step 4: Download the stickers and covers
Download the stickers and covers in the same way that you just downloaded the notebook.
Step 5: Unzip the stickers
iOS: Go to the Files app. Then, locate each stickers file and tap it. The unzipped contents will appear shortly.
Android: There are several apps for unzipping files. Please find instructions for the Files by Google app here: https://support.google.com/files/answer/9048509?hl=en.
Step 6: Import the notebook and covers into your note-taking app
On the GoodNotes home page, tap New… In the menu that appears, tap Import. Then, locate the notebook file and tap it. Repeat this process with the covers file.
On the Notability home page, tap the Import button in the top-right corner. In the menu that appears, tap Files. Locate the notebook file and tap it. Then, tap Create New Note. Repeat this process with the covers file.
